A preview of things to come…

Summer 1995. I am in Berlin, 30 meter over the ground, hardly clinging on a pole on top of a circus tent.

Its windy. Very windy. One hand holds me tight, in the other hand I hold a camera. Not too far from me a chicken spreads its wings. Another guy on the other side. In the background a huge wrapped building. I try to focus, its difficult. No auto-focus here. No digital preview. Its 1995, these things don’t exist yet. At least not for me. I take some shots. I scream directions. I try not to fall down. What am I doing here? How did I come into this situation?
