Also I am not so sure about the sand vs. concrete ... not too long ago they "celebrated" 40 years of bid rigging for constructions in Japan...this means they are most of the time overpriced and under delivered...plus not really necessary. But you make me very curious about Italy! The only country in Europe I never went to for some reason... I like it from the “inside” but from the outside its pretty much a monster.
